Our Tech department is the driving force behind one of the most successful start-ups in Europe since 2012. Based in Berlin, we have an innovative and driven team that is using cutting-edge technologies to redefine the used car market.

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead for our Site Reliability Engineering team to join and collaborate with the engineering department end-to-end, working closely with strong Senior and Expert engineers as well as other Team Leads and Directors from all Business Units and cater to a modern technology stack based on AWS, Java, PHP, Go and Javascript. Our SRE’s mission is to find the balancing sweet spot between resilience, maintenance, high availability, infrastructure costs, and development lifecycle velocity.

**Your new role**
- Lead Senior and Expert engineers to be a vital part of the entire delivery lifecycle
- Improve tools and advocate operational excellence for continuous monitoring, self-healing systems, and alert transparency
- Own and guide critical incident mitigations and drive blameless postmortems
- Troubleshooting and timely problem-solving of production incidents
- Define key SLI’s and shape business and quality-focused SLO’s

**Your skills**
- Experienced leader with a can-do attitude of high-performing, distributed teams
- Good time-management, strong communication, and collaboration skills in remote environments
- Production-proven and resilient SRE expertise
- Proficiency in one of our first-class citizen programming languages, Java, PHP, Go, or Python
- Understanding of Cloud and Distributed Systems challenges
- Leveraging Telemetry Tools enable you to ensure quality and operational excellence
- An intrinsic drive to drill deep into complex tasks and incidents paired with a natural need to share it with your peers
