Babbel, Babbel Live and Babbel for Business provide users with the most effective solution to be able to communicate with real people, in real situations. We are looking for a Freelancer Product Designer for our Design system Team in the heart of buzzing Berlin
The Babbel Design System team's next big goal is to modernize the design system and to enable the rebranding of the Babbel Learning Ecosystem. This is a new role for the team, and they’re excited to have a designer contribute to this goal to deliver business value and user satisfaction outcomes.
**You will**:
- Create a cohesive set of design system elements
- Configurable components for the design system which follow accessibility standards
- Incorporate design tokens to drive our system's flexibility and scalability
**You have**:
- Experience in working in Product Design and UX, ideally also in Design Systems
- A portfolio demonstrating UX and Design Systems related experience
- Proficiency with current design and prototyping tools (Figma, etc.)
- Knowledge of interaction design and brand craft
- The ability to collaborate effectively with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functionality
- You like to help, collaborate and share ideas and concepts
**Nice to have**:
- Experience designing on platforms (Web, iOS, Android, iOS)
- Accessibility - experience building and testing on the web with assistive technologies
