To support the growth and expansion of the automotive business we are looking for a Head of Program Management (m/w/d) who will manage projects with top automotive OEMs and tier 1 suppliers from product development to serial production. The position is located south of Stuttgart and reports to the general manager of automotive.

Tasks

Your tasks
- Represent the company in front of the customer for all program related topics
- Lead all technical discussions during project kickoffs, ensuring the company’s technologies and capabilities are explored and effectively presented to the customer. Effectively manage and integrate the efforts of the different teams involved in the Program / Project Launch
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the program/project risks to manage them. The Program Manager must generate preventive actions at all levels to minimize any potential negative impact
- Generate high-level reporting on projects according to customers' specific requirements in an assertive and timely manner. Properly manage all program/project information across internal and external stakeholders. Responsible to escalate any potential issue that might result in delays or a potential gap vs customer expectations (technical or management

related)
- Lead and develop the project management team and ensure the continuous improvement of project management processes.

**Requirements**:
**Profile**:

- Minimum 5 years of working experience with an Automotive 1st tier supplier (ideally glazing industry) or OEM in either program or project management, engineering or design department.
- You graduated in electric or automotive engineering or own a similar technical degree.
- Your know-how of project management processes and an affinity for numbers help you to manage your projects to the project budgets that you developed together with the stakeholders.
- You are reacting fast, flexible and effective to unforeseen situations, can stand ambiguity and are resilient to stress
- Your excellent communication skills in German and English language allow you to coordinate and align internal departments (e.g. Engineering, Quality and Production) and external partners (e.g. suppliers, integrators) with the end customers (OEMs, Tier 1) to meet the objectives
