Team Leader Payroll

**My duties**
- Responsible for the correct execution of monthly payroll accounting/time management in accordance with tax and social security regulations for the company in Germany (Glinde, Ludwigsburg, and 2 more locations).
- Permanent analysis, optimization, and standardization of the payroll processes and their implementation
- Implementation of all changes under collective bargaining law (pay increases, demo fund, etc.) in the SAP HCM accounting system
- Project responsibility for the introduction of new systems or updates (payroll accounting/time management/time recording)
- Contact person/responsibility for internal/external audits (SOX, PWC, etc.)
- Contact person for all payroll accounting issues, in particular regarding collective bargaining regulations, existing company agreements, and regulatory arrangements, as well as payroll accounting/time management issues relating to wage and social insurance law
- Creation of new shift and working time models in the SAP HCM time management system
- Development/creation and testing of new payroll-relevant processes in accordance with the collective agreement, tax, and social insurance law specifications in SAP HCM
- Support and data maintenance in payroll accounting and in the time management system
- Correspondence with authorities, insurance companies, and health insurance funds
- Carrying out payroll tax, social security, and paying agency audits
- Preparation of reports/statistics such as (accruals, overtime & vacation, absence evaluations, BEM, alpha lists, etc.)
- Responsible for correct data maintenance in case of changes in the local access control in Glinde
- Close interface to the Finance, Controlling, and GF departments
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the remuneration team (3 team members)
- Coordination within the group in English

**My qualifications**
- Education: successful completion of a university degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship with further training in human resources management or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a management position in payroll accounting/payroll.
- Special knowledge: Knowledge of social and tax law issues within human resources, good knowledge of English, confident handling of the software programs SAP HR, HCM, and MS Office, broad specialist knowledge from the entire spectrum of payroll accounting.
- Special skills: social competence, leadership experience, strong analytical skills, strategic and entrepreneurial understanding, project work
