**The position**:
**Your tasks**:

- Simulation and design of chip-to-wafer and wafer-to-wafer interconnections up to 500 GHz and above based on IHPs BiCMOS wafer-level packaging technologies
- Development of advanced passive THz RF components like transmission lines, filters and antennas
- Co-simulation of developed components together with advanced BiCMOS integrated circuits
- DC and RF characterization of developed components and modules
- Support the development of compact models for Process Design Kit (PDK) implementation
- Project support and dissemination of research results within high-level scientific journals and conferences

**Your qualifications**:

- Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Physics, or a related field
- Knowledge about high frequency design of passive components at millimeter-wave and THz frequency range
- Extensive hands-on experience with high frequency simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS HFSS, Keysight ADS)
- Theoretical and practical experience of semiconductor assembly technologies is desirable
- Ability to work independently in a structured and solution-oriented manner
- Team player with strong communication skills and high self-motivation
- German and English language skills mandatory, both written and spoken
