**Your mission**:
The **Team Lead Accounting**is responsible for correct accounting of all Matrix42 entities and developing the team members. This includes the quality assurance for the daily accounting (general and sub-ledger), preparation of month end closing and analysis, supporting and preparing individual financial statements and developing the team members.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely posting of journal entries including revenue recognition
- Preparing individual financial statements and IFRS reporting packages
- Standardizing accounting and processes between the individual entities
- Liaising with auditors, tax advisors as well as other external and internal parties (especially Treasury, Tax and Controlling)
- Managing and developing the team
- Month end closing & analysis
- Ensuring matching inter-company positions
- Developing our audit guideline & processes

**Your profile**:
**MUST HAVE**
- University degree in business administration or accounting
- 10+ years professional experience
- First management experience
- Extensive experience in accounting according to IFRS and HGB
- Strong in VAT knowledge, Excel and in depth knowledge of ERP
- Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work with remote teams
- Business Fluent in German and English**(Finnish or other language will be a plus)

- Knowledge of Scopevisio
- Knowledge of another local GAAP
