Sourcing Administrator (m/w/d)
For the Business Unit Health and Medical Solutions we are looking for a Hub Sourcing Administrator (M/F/d) for our Emmerich manufacturing site. It is a full-time, permanent contract. The Sourcing Administrator provides direct support to the Site Sourcing Team and supports cost out projects across all spend areas.

What You Will Do
- All aspects of the company’s purchasing, inventory control and material management processes
- Participate in purchasing negotiations with local suppliers
- Process purchase orders and work in conjunction with all internal departments to ensure materials/services are purchased in a timely manner.
- Monitor overdue orders, process and expedite as necessary
- Manage customer/supplier complaints
- Monitor, report on and improve supplier performance
- Act as first point of contact for pricing/invoicing queries/delivery queries and general correspondence both for suppliers and internal departments
- Ensure that internal and external customer receive an efficient service from the sourcing department administration
- Management of internal databases (SAP) to ensure all information is accurate and updated (vendor records, info records, material master maintenance) as well as Reach compliance, Health & Safety regulations etc.
- Proactively seek cost saving opportunities through analysing current operations & data in conjunction with the sourcing managers
- Produce and maintain sourcing department, expenditure, savings & KPI reports on a monthly basis
- Provide any relevant purchasing administration as and when required for the smooth running of the sites
- Management of local/small spend areas & responsibility for designated local category spend (MRO)
- Operational involvement in process improvement projects and input into central led projects, incorporating P2P improvements.
Who You Are
- Either a technical, financial or supply chain Bachelor will be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within a similar role
- Experience from working with SAP & Ariba
- Fluent in German & English verbal and written
- You are driven and you have a convincing and coaching attitude, eager to be a spokesperson for implementing processes and new ways of working
