This position will be primarily responsible for providing legal advice, guidance and support related to all legal aspects of the business of the German legal entity. This includes but is not limited to legal advice on German Drug Law (AMG), Social Security Code V (SGB V) with focus on AMNOG related questions, Law on Drug Advertisement (HWG), contracting topics including but not limited to contracts with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)/Healthcare Organizations (HCOs).

**Key Responsibilities and Major Duties**:

- Work as part of the German Commercialization & Development Law team on legal matters related to BMS Germany
- Provide support and (depending on level of experience)) pro-active, practical, solution-oriented advice and counsel colleagues working within the matrix teams i.e., members of the marketing, sales and medical and other teams to resolve issues regarding regulatory and commercial topics in close collaboration with colleagues from the Compliance Department, as needed.
- Work cooperatively with peers to leverage skills and knowledge within the local Legal & Compliance team, in the Commercialization & Development Legal Group and the Law Department.
- (Proactive identification and) mitigation of potential legal risks.
- (Proactively identify the training needs), prepare and hold trainings and develop other aids for colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience
- University Law Degree (preferably 2nd state exam)
- Fluent in German and English
- Excellent verbal and writing skills and business judgment are required (both German and English), as well as a collaborative work style.

- Personal integrity and ethics, including an exceptional sense of discretion.
- Experience of having worked for/in a regulated industry environment is useful but not mandatory
- Knowledge of drug laws, social security law V (SGB V with focus on AMNOG related questions), Law on Drug Advertisement (HWG) and regulations on the interaction with HCPs (FSA code, -- 331ff, 299a, b StGB) preferable but not mandatory.
- Based on your function, department or individual position, you will have the opportunity to discuss with your Manager the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time, over a two-week period, with the flexibility to choose the days that align with your collaboration needs._
