Project Lead Site Planning and Installation

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:

- Leading customer projects from sales order to final acceptance on national and regional level for small Benchtop instruments to large GHz systems, partially with automation solutions, in the academic and industrial markets (partially under GxP)
- Acts as a single point of contact for our customer’s installation projects
- Regularly meets our customers and their teams, both on site and virtually, to develop agreed schedules, discuss our equipment requirements and review progress
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues on pre-installation site planning and documentation
- Perform site visits and help the customer prepare their facility for a successful and efficient installation
- Typically, provides the customer with the following:

- Hardware Specific Requirement: Advise customers on complex facility requirements, needs and/or changes including, but not limited to, safety requirements, room layout and electrical, plumbing and HVAC requirements
- Extensive interaction with Sales, Order Processing, Installations resource managers and customers' teams
- Work with Order Fulfillment to ensure on-time production and delivery of orders in the assigned region
- Monitoring installations, setting up, testing and achieving specifications for systems and accessories at customer sites,
- Project schedules are reported for quarterly revenue forecasting purposes. Spots risks to delivery and adjust the forecast
- Typically, oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment
- Review sales orders noting any unusual requirements and follow up with appropriate function
- Monitors the customer facility preparations and coordinates equipment shipment schedules to ensure timely and effective installation and commissioning of equipment
- Requests internally material deliveries and installation resources
- Provides reports indicating installation activities and analyzing schedules
- Prioritize individual projects in collaboration with Director CEE, Finance and Operations.
- Ensure that internal communication channels and processes are adhered to.
- Ensure client satisfaction through high project quality and continuous and transparent client communication.
- Tender support
- Ensure that the necessary transport and installation equipment is on site at the right time.

Qualifikationen:

- Bachelor’s degree in a natural or engineering science or comparable qualification
- Project management degree: Six-Sigma or Agile or ITIL or PRINCE2 or similar
- 2-3 years of professional experience
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communicating and negotiation skills
- Fluent in German and English (speaking and writing, equivalent to B2)
- Class B driving license
- Background in natural sciences is an advantage, but not necessary
- Good knowledge of the Windows and Linux operating systems
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Office
- Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is required to manage competing interests
- General knowledge of construction and electrical codes and government radiation regulations
- General appreciation of construction, radiation regulations and a basic technical understanding
