For our new Scientific Solutions organization, we are hiring an experienced Export Control Expert to join our dynamic European Scientific Solutions Team.

Tasks
- You develop, design, and implement the Evident export control system within the framework of legal requirements and corresponding trainings for our operational areas as well as for the regional export control officers
- You perform risk analysis and evaluations to identify and mitigate risks at an early stage
- You continuously improve processes and implement them based on international export regulations, document all process changes in the quality management system
- You check and approve exports within the internal export control system based on legal export regulations (embargo, dual use, sanctions, US re-export law)
- You maintain export control relevant data in the IT system SAP and you document test results for traceability in foreign trade audits

**Requirements**:

- You have either a commercial apprenticeship background together with qualifications in the field of customs and export control or a university degree business admin or supply chain
- You have an experience of 3-5 years of experience in import/export, export control, customs handling and/ or supply chainPreferably you already bring experience in an international operating company
- You use your knowledge of EU customs, preference and foreign trade law on a day-to-day basis as well as knowledge of US trade law
- You have used customs software (e.g. Dakosy, ATLAS) on daily basis as well as export software (e.g. ELAN K2 or SNAP-R) would be an advantage
- You are confident handling of MS Office programs
- You describe yourself as self-reliant, like to take initiative and used your strong communication skills
- You are fluent in both English and German
