**Team mission**:
Our People team is growing, and we are currently building out specialty functions for increased focus and expertise. Payroll is currently one of several responsibilities in the HR Services team, and with the growth ahead of us, we are looking for an expert and leader to drive an autonomous payroll function and team. This is a great opportunity to shape our future people operations and systems set-up, as well as to be part of the HR leadership team dedicated to building strong culture and having a meaningful business impact.
**You will**:
- Lead a dedicated payroll team and evolve the function to set them up for future success
- Ensure seamless payroll operations for over 900 employees in 13 countries, in collaboration with local payroll providers and the People Operations team
- Drive payroll-related compliance topics in close partnership with stakeholders from Finance and Accounting
- Collaborate with HR technology specialists to implement ongoing efficiency and process improvements
- Deliver best-in-class service for employees' questions about their payroll, tax, social security, benefits, and more
**Who you are**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven leadership experience with a strategic focus, capable of guiding and developing a high-performing payroll team.
- Extensive knowledge of international payroll processes, pay types, and accounting reports, ensuring accurate and timely global payroll management.
- Strong commitment to process improvement and compliance, adept at navigating complex regulatory environments.
- Ability to thrive in uncertainty, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic situations.
- Service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on employee satisfaction and support
- German language skills are a big plus
