**Team mission**:
This is a highly strategic role where you'll lead the direction of storytelling across marketing campaigns, digital experiences, product communications, and editorial content. Your work will directly influence how customers perceive and connect with our brand, transforming our messaging into an emotional, engaging, and memorable experience.
**You will**:
- Define and lead the creative direction for brand storytelling, ensuring a compelling and unified brand voice across all platforms.
- Develop and refine our tone of voice guidelines, ensuring they evolve with our brand and remain effective across different markets, channels, and audiences.
- Lead the strategic and creative execution of brand campaigns, content, and customer experiences—translating business objectives into compelling narratives.
- Work cross-functionally with Brand, Product, Performance Marketing, and Comms teams to align storytelling with strategic goals and customer insights.
- Mentor and develop copywriters, fostering a culture of creative excellence and innovation.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all brand touchpoints, from website and social media to product communications and advertising.
- Guide and collaborate with external agencies and freelancers to maintain brand integrity and quality in all outsourced storytelling efforts.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, cultural insights, and new storytelling techniques to keep GetYourGuide's brand voice fresh and compelling.
**Who you are**:
- 7+ years of experience in a senior creative role, ideally in-house or a mix of agency and in-house environments.
- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand storytelling, creative direction, and content strategy, with a distinct voice and style.
- Deep expertise in tone of voice development, messaging strategy, and creative storytelling across multiple formats.
- Proven experience setting creative direction for brand storytelling, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing creative teams.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and influence senior stakeholders to drive impactful storytelling initiatives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills are required. Native-level English is required, and additional languages (German or French) are a plus.
- Experience working on global brands and diverse markets, with an understanding of how to tailor storytelling for different audiences.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, and skilled at balancing creative vision with business priorities.
