Co-founder & CTO @ Ai Business Travel Assistant

Job summary We’re looking for a technical co-founder for the new cutting edge venture: Swifty is the first autonomous AI tool in the travel industry that has already generated first revenue, and was recognized by multiple media outlets and startup awards. Swifty was incubated at the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, and is transitioning into a founder-led independent company. We transform the time-consuming and fragmented business travel booking process into a fast and efficient experience. The AI-based assistant autonomously manages essential steps of business travel, encompassing planning, booking, payment, and invoicing - all within the chat interface. Your tasks In order to take this venture to the next level, we are looking for a strong technical co-founder to join our experienced founder, establish a company and grow it to 10x. Your initial role will be to build upon our MVP and execute product iterations hands-on across backend and frontend with the help of a small but brilliant team of developers. **Requirements**: - Proven track record as a VC-backed startup tech lead (e.g. CTO, Director Engineering) or in driving independent successful projects - Strong technical ability to execute product iterations hands-on - Demonstrated ability in assembling and leading high-performing tech teams - Readiness to build and scale the AI startup in uncertain conditions - Fluency in English & location in Germany, ideally in Berlin (or considering relocation) - Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues alike - Experience as a Senior / Lead Engineer in Big Tech, Scale-Ups or AI & Data related companies is a big plus **Tech Stack**: - You are a full-stack engineer with a focus on back-end development - Expert-level proficiency in Ruby or Python and at least one other general purpose programming language - Some experience with JavaScript and a modern front-end framework like React or Vue - Prior experience with LLMs or Neural Networks, e.g. LangChain framework, is a big plus (data science experience is not necessary) - Experience with Git and CI / CD workflows What we offer - Co-found the first autonomous AI tool in the travel industry - “AutoGPT for travel” - Attractive equity package - the founding team will hold the majority of the company - Work with a founder with experience in McKinsey, BCG, travel-tech unicorn GetYourGuide and early-stage ventures - Leverage the power of Lufthansa Innovation Hub and Lufthansa Group for a head start into the market - Beautiful office space and close exchange with LIH and other LIH ventures - a truly unique setting in the heart of the Berlin tech ecosystem About us **About Swifty & Lufthansa Innovation Hub**: - Swifty is an AI business travel assistant with a vision of democratizing personal assistance service to every business traveler out there - Swifty has engaged >1000 early adopters and was recognised by multiple German and International media outlets, incl.
