Supervisor Inbound, Outbound

As **Supervisor **in the inbound or outbound areas at our new logit.syncreon location in Dortmund, you will be responsible for the on-time provision of our customer goods in the incoming goods department / outgoing goods department. **About the Role**:
**How you will contribute**
- Personnel management and responsibility in the inbound / outbound department
- Planning and control including work distribution and briefing of employees
- Superior-level contact person for customers and employees or temporary workers
- Planning, scheduling and coordination of forklift trucks
- Planning and controlling the movement of goods within the agreed customer SLA's (Service Level Agreements)
- Ensuring that orders are processed on time, including the complete and safe processing of incoming goods / outgoing goods
- Coordination and adherence to specified targets, KPI's, SLA's and customer requirements including communication to the customer
- Daily and weekly reporting (internal and external)
- Processing of prioritized shipments and customer orders as well as handing them over to employees for loading and/or storage
- Processing of stock transfers and transfers in the warehouse management system
- Reporting damages and claims, assisting in claim and damage handling, and documenting accordingly
- Responsibility for compliance, revision and optimization of procedures and processes
- Development, creation and continuous updating of process descriptions and work instructions for the specialist department

**Your Key Qualifications**
- Successfully completed commercial or technical training as a master craftsman, ideally a degree in business administration or industrial engineering preferably in the field of logistics and/or supply chain management
- At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics / freight forwarding desirable
- 3-5 years of management experience desirable
- Fluency in German and a good command of written and spoken English are required
- Very good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel
- Experience and knowledge in the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP
- You enjoy working in a varied and exciting work environment for a global customer in a 2-shift system
- You have a high degree of personal responsibility, independence as well as planning and organizational skills
- You have a dynamic, goal-oriented and team-oriented personality with good communication skills and can work under pressure
- You have an analytical understanding of process-related correlations
