**This role belongs to our German subsidiary Wipro Technologies GmbH** with a headquarter in Frankfurt. This role is open for all locations in Germany.

**Your working area & responsibilities**
- We take care about, consulting, designing, maintaining servers, infrastructure, doing patch management or release upgrades and also take care about backup and restore
- All of that is designed aiming the enhancement of the developer communities' productivity, so they can focus on their core business, leaving the rest to us
- Support daily operations including job monitoring and troubleshooting the databases and issue fixings

**Your skillset**

Desired Skills:

- Minimum 3+ years of Cassandra experience, overall 12+ years of experience
- Having good experience of working on Cassandra database and should have Deep understanding of the Cassandra architecture Concepts (Cluster Structure, Practitioner, Read Write Path, Replication, tunable consistency)
- Linux system administration experience in a large, dynamic and critical environment (more than 100 server)
- Hands on experience in configuring, adding, removing, upgrading and decommissioning Cassandra nodes/data centers
- Experience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
- English fluency is mandatory, German is desirable

Nice to have:

- Good experience working on development and API Integration with Cassandra
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes and other container orchestration and cloud environments
- Knowledge on infrastructure automation tools like Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
