Junior Buyer

**JOIN OUR TEAM**:
As a **Junior Buyer,** you will be responsible for the product development of the Kitchen & Tableware category, managing your projects from start to finish and balancing the expectations of stakeholders across Quality, Creative and Product Management teams. You will help bring creative solutions and commercial strategies to life, while always keeping our compliance standards and sustainability targets in mind. Supplier management will be a key aspect of your day-to-day work, including engaging in meetings with suppliers and our agents as well as our Asia office. This position is **permanent**and based in **Munich**.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- lead product development within the Kitchen & Tableware category, from Creative & Quality briefs through to launch on the website
- collaborate closely with Creative, Quality, Product Management and Supply Chain teams to support their objectives
- organise and manage sample shipments for the category
- supervise order placements and monitor internal production tracking
- source new suppliers, cross-quote and re-source existing products, seeking cost-saving opportunities while enhancing product value
- cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and agents in Europe and Asia, working together to prevent and resolve issues, and developing growth and improvement plans

**YOU COME WITH**:

- a background in buying, with some experience in negotiation
- a proactive, structured and goal-oriented working style, with a strong hands-on mentality
- strong organisational and time management skills
- solid knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- good communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English (German skills are an advantage)
- a sense for trends and interest in Home & Living industry
