As an infrastructure specialist for the Munich region, you will have direct responsibility for managing and controlling the operation, development and definition of the global “Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Windows Terminal Server (WTS) & Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)” services, with end-to-end responsibility for all infrastructure services in the area of these workplace platforms. This includes supporting the global service manager and performing local service management and technical coordination of both internal services (such as Windows client endpoint management, network services, security and compliance) and external service providers to deliver stable operational services in an efficient, cost-effective and secure manner.

**Your job**- Providing technical expertise and assuming responsibility to enable the correct planning, integration, configuration and operation of infrastructure services and operational procedures- Using toolsets to monitor the utilisation and performance statistics of infrastructure components with respect to agreed SLAs- Contributing to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including the building and management of systems and components in live environments while ensuring system integrity and security- Implementing agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines- Taking part, controlling and leading regional escalations in the responsible services- Defining, documenting and carrying out infrastructure projects or sub-projects- Maintaining and documenting system information according to compliance requirements, as well as for quality assurance and the advancement of standards- Monitoring hardware and software lifecycles and capacity- Supporting cost optimisation and ensuring appropriate licencing- Controlling the external service providers and vendors in the Munich region for the global VDI, WTS and EMM services according to the agreed SLAs and KPIs, and driving the adoption and user satisfaction of these services- Conducting the ongoing technical analysis of the services with respect to optimisation and standardisation potentials, and driving the standardisation of the services in the Munich region- Being involved in projects and taking over regional or global project responsibility as a technical expert

**Your profile**- University degree in a technical discipline (computer science) or technically orientated education with several years of professional experience- Strong technical understanding of Windows client settings and management, Active Directory, GPO management, MS Endpoint Manager (Intune), networks, client proxy configuration, PowerShell scripting, Windows Server, VDI, WTS and EMM/MDM- Technical understanding of Windows client settings and management, Active Directory, GPO management, MS Endpoint Manager (Intune), networks, client proxy configuration, PowerShell scripting, Windows Server as well as cloud technologies (Citrix Cloud and Microsoft Azure)- Technical knowledge in the areas of SCCM and/or Intune- Sound technical knowledge and a practical understanding of the architecture and operation of virtualised solutions (VMWare, Citrix Virtual Apps and Citrix Virtual Desktop) at an enterprise level, including relevant expertise in compliance and security- Strong troubleshooting skills in the areas of Windows Server and Windows clients, GPOs, SCCM and Windows security- Familiar with managing external services providers and vendors- Working experience in projects and cooperating with internationally distributed teams, a high level of commitment, a strong team player and clear customer orientation- Skills in managing the divergent interests of various stakeholders- Cultural awareness and willingness to work in an international and diverse team- Flexibility, a curious and creative mindset, openness to new things and an ability to propose innovative ideas- Strong written and verbal communication in English- Willingness to travel
