EPAM has a rare opportunity for you to join us as a Delivery Director in Germany with a focus on either Public Administration, Insurance or Retail & Consumer Goods market. In partnership with the wider delivery leadership team, you will have an opportunity to play a vital role working with the best-in-class engineering, digital innovation and design teams shaping client product vision and implementations that impact the lives of millions of people worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive existing client projects and build trusting relationships with client representatives so that you are perceived as the primary contact person for all relevant projects
- Act as a strong leader and trusted advisor within Public Administration or Insurance or Retail & Consumer Goods space, providing consultative technology solutions
- Establish and provide ongoing support for multi-disciplinary EPAM teams to develop the best possible solutions for our clients by ensure that expected outcomes are achieved whilst managing timely intervention on risks and challenges
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at all seniority levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth of practice activities within different portfolios
- Coordinate effort estimation and contract negotiations process for new deal proposals
- Manage multiple client projects in close collaboration with EPAM onsite and nearshore resources taking care of quality, timeline and budget with hands-on delivery engagement
- Actively participate in the RFP and pre-sales process with potential clients in collaboration with colleagues from business development, account management and solution architecture in evaluating, presenting solution options and deal closure
- Align with overall goals and objectives, support company financial goals including revenue, profit targets and risk management

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Extensive experience in, for example, a Director of Technology Consulting, Director of Delivery, Head of Software Development, Head of Engineering or CTO type role with deep experience in digital and innovative technology focused leadership positions in Germany
- Strong experience overseeing complex medium to large scale projects in the relevant industry sectors broad technical expertise focused on modern web technologies and architectures
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies, project/program management and risk management
- Experience of successfully managing critical client engagements, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, and consistently delivering successful projects
- Strong team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to assemble, inspire, and lead high-performance teams
- Exceptional communication/consultative and interpersonal skills, enabling the building of strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams (business and technical) across all seniority levels
- Solid expertise in pre-sales activities, including building compelling offers and proposals that effectively address customer needs and drive business growth
- Active participation in leading competitive RFP/RFQ scenarios, presenting solution options and closing contracts
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a winning/can do attitude
- Flexibility to travel to client sites in Germany on a regular basis
- Fluent English and German skills (C1+)
