We are looking for an advanced Data Specialist (M/F/d) who enjoys working end to end, from stakeholder management, over data pipeline building and Data Warehouse table design to reporting and enabling users via self-service. We have to offer a lot of value to the business in the Data Team and are looking for support from someone who enjoys going beyond the stakeholder expectations with their own ideas and strong business acumen. Your mission - Analysis Part - You will be a role model for our data culture by asking relevant questions & demonstrating how to answer them - You identify and monitor key business processes and help their owners to improve them - You challenge and co-create KPI definitions as well as the overall data strategy - You develop standard reports, create deep dive reports and develop self-service data products for your stakeholders - You help to facilitate experiments by tech teams or from the business, e.g. marketing and sales functions - You design and implement data pipelines in collaboration with our Data Engineers - You provide analytics training especially for Tableau - Engineering Part - You creatively support your analyses with easy to use, meaningful and flexible data tables - You drive the ELT process for our Data Warehouse - You design data tables according to our data layers logic - You build transformation scripts using SQL, Talend Studio and if needed Python - You manage the orchestration of the scripts - You establish monitoring of our data pipelines About the team - You will work within a small, motivated team and report to the VP Data - We have a very open, transparent team culture to support ourselves and our work 100% - Our team works closely together in a spirit of trust to ensure our targets and tight deadlines will be reached - Get the best of both worlds Our hybrid work model lets you choose between working in the office or remotely, giving you the freedom to work in a way that suits you best. **Profile**: - You have 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Product Analytics roles and/or data engineering - You have a very strong grip on data visualizations and data source design (ideally by using Tableau and data marts on the DWH) - You have excellent command of SQL including window functions and common table expressions - Having used data pipeline builders such as Airflow, Talend, dbt, Google Data Flow, FiveTran or similar is a plus - Experience with BigQuery or Snowflake is also a plus - Fluent in English About us We are a motivated, experienced and international team with the mission to shape the "Future of Work".
