As part of our Employee Engagement & Change team within Corporate Affairs, you will play a key role in supporting strategic internal communications. Our goal is to enhance our employees’ understanding of what Boehringer Ingelheim does, why and how - thereby boosting engagement and fostering meaningful dialogue. You will also foster effective change communication within the organization.
The traineeship at the Employee Engagement and Change team (German Volontariat) enables participants to gain professional development and profound insights into working practices at Boehringer Ingelheim’s headquarters. The position is designed to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of different communication areas within the organization. Regular professional feedback will be provided to ensure your continuous growth and development.
***Tasks & responsibilities**:
- As part of the team, you support the development and execution of effective global internal communication strategies for highly strategic corporate topics.
- You create, write and publish content for various internal channels.
- You monitor and manage our communities on our internal social media platform.
- You work with key internal stakeholders and external agencies to execute projects from a cross-functional perspective.
- As a communications trainee (Volontär) within a team that forms part of Corporate Affairs, you undertake two internships within the wider Corporate Affairs team to learn more about other areas of communication and broaden your understanding of the organization.
- You engage in exchanges with other communications trainees (Volontäre) to share knowledge and experiences.
- You attend one or two external seminars or training sessions for your professional development and further qualification.
***Your profile**:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or any other relevant field
- Excellent command of English, both in written and spoken form
- Prior experience in communications through internships or part-time jobs is preferred
- Experience in copywriting and editing
- Skillful use of MS Office
- High level of initiative and motivation, a structured way of working, and excellent team skills
- Great performance in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings
***What we offer you**:
- A full-time traineeship is 37.5 hours per week.
- During your communications traineeship (Volontariat) you will receive a wage of €2,800 per month.
- You are eligible for a yearly bonus (VPR).
- You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the communications traineeship (Volontariat).
- In our team, we offer a hybrid working model. This means you can work remotely for several days per week.The reporting manager will develop a traineeship plan with you to enable a learning curve throughout the program. You and the reporting manager are responsible to ensure that the plan is executed.
