We are looking for a Business Controller (M/F/d) for our location in Ulm or Lüdenscheid as soon as possible.

**What will you do as a Business Controller (M/F/d)**
- You will be a proactive business partner to our business and management
- You will be an active part of the controlling team, working tightly with credit control, accounting, and the business
- You will coordinate, report and analyse several entities in the region DACH+ (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central and Eastern Europe countries) according to IFRS and HGB standards
- You will prepare and follow up on investment projects (capex), profitability and ad-hoc analyses
- You will support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- You will create and evaluate forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans both for commercial and operations KPIs
- You will develop automation of processes and improve business controlling practices where ever possible
- You will take on independent projects in the area of controlling which can involve working across regions within the business unit Hydro Building Systems

**What are the requirements for this position?**
- You have a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling, finance or accounting or similar
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in controlling or accounting, preferably in international manufacturing
- You have experience in dealing with financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
- You have excellent Excel skills as well as other digital tools.
- In-depth experience with SAP R/3 FI/CO, Hyperion Financial Management, and Power BI is considered an advantage
- You are fluent in German and feel comfortable to communicate in English, both written and spoken
- You are willing to travel (min 20%) as our business is spread over several locations
- As a person, you are curious, with a passion for learning, you’re analytical and organized in your way of working, and you enjoy helping colleagues. You have a “hands-on” mentality and enjoy shifting focus between high and low.
