The roleAs a Senior Digital Tracking Specialist, you lead the collection of front end user behavioural data across 18+ countries. As an expert in the field, you work with stakeholders across HelloFresh advocating best practices and delivering enhancements to our digital tracking infrastructure that drive our digital tracking capability to the next level.

What you’ll do
- Take on technical leadership over user behavioural data collection in 18+ countries (web + app)
- Design and implement digital analytics solutions using our Google-based stack, taking into account evolving privacy legislation and technical developments
- Develop and maintain custom tracking scripts (mostly server-side), using JavaScript or other programming languages, for multiple marketing vendors (Facebook CAPI, Google Ads, etc)
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across HelloFresh including developers, marketers and users of behavioural data, contributing to a rich data-driven culture by ensuring tracking is reliable and efficient
- Quickly troubleshoot and debug tracking issues to ensure that our data is accurate and complete
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital analytics, privacy, browser restrictions and web development

What you'll bring
- Extensive experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and other tag management systems
- Extensive experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar tools
- Solid coding skills in JavaScript or other programming languages
- Experience with debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler
- Excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical and analytical briefs, and present your findings in a clear and precise way
- Experience working with global, cross-functional teams, having developed ideas to bring together brand goals and tailor objectives to consumer needs
- Strong analytical skills to ensure collected data is accurate, reliable and suitable for their intended purpose
