**Job Title**:Health and Safety Coordinator - Germany

**Location**:Germany - WFH with some travel

**Reporting to**: Head of Health and Safety and Field Operations

**Job Purpose**:Working within the Field Operations Team to provide support to the Head of Health and Safety and Field Operations and assist with the smooth running of the Health and Safety function for the ASK4 group.

Provide language support and in country knowledge. Assist with tasks in other countries. Will be based at home but will be required to travel throughout Europe on occasion

**Responsibilities of the job**:

- Document Control including cross referencing of site health and safety pages.
- Check and authorise RAMS, both for ASK4 jobs and sub-contractor jobs.
- Onboard suppliers and contractors.
- Carry out risk assessments and develop safe systems of work.
- Carry out COSHH assessments.
- Participate in and assist in promoting health and safety meetings.
- Undertake relevant training as directed by the Head of Health and Safety and Field Operations.
- Carry out training with ASK4 staff.
- Produce toolbox talks for site staff to deliver.
- Complete contractor appraisal documentation and administration for SSIP schemes.
- Support in the preparation of all H&S documentation.
- Investigate health and safety hazard reports.
- Carry out site audits and health and safety surveys, both for ASK4 staff and contractors. Ensuring accompanying paperwork is up to date.
- Carrying out tool and asset safety checks and reporting any problems/arranging rectification.
- Adherence to ASK4's policies and procedures, including, but not limited to all the relevant Information Security and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any health and safety breaches or concerns in order to assist the company in preventing future accidents/incidents.
- Ensure you carry out your work in an environmentally responsible manner and in line with environmental policies and procedures

- Adherence to ASK4's policies and procedures, including, but not limited to all the relevant Information Security and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Recognise own limitations and seek advice when needed.

**Skills & Attributes required**:
**Essential**
- Keen interest in Health and Safety.
- Health and Safety qualification equivalent to IOSH Managing Safely. Other certificates useful.
- Good standard of IT literacy.
- Excellent standard of literacy and communication skills.
- Flexibility in working hours and happy to travel and stay away overnight if required.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Full driving license essential.
- Ability to travel.
- Must speak German and English proficiently.

**Desirable**
- Health and Safety experience preferred.
- Own car preferable. Mileage will be paid.

**Other Information**
- May be required to assist with other administrative tasks within the department.
- Undertake health and safety training as directed by the Head of Health and Safety and Field Operations.
