Your tasks As our Lead Accountant (M/F/d) you will have the opportunity to build up, develop, digitalize and automate the accounting of a fast growing start-up company together with the Head of Finance. You will be supported by a team of 2 accounting specialists. You have already gained relevant experience in the field of German and international Accounting and want a breath of fresh air for your career? Then the Lead Accountant (M/F/d) position could be something for you. - Together with our Head of Finance you will build up a "state of the art" Accounting - You and your team will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and general ledger Accounting as well as inventory Accounting for the entire inveox Group - You will review, track and maintain documents and ensure we meet all Accounting related regulatory requirements - Regular payment runs and ongoing business transactions are managed by you - The preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as monthly sales tax returns is your responsibility - You define the Accounting and valuation methods for existing and new business transactions - You are the contact person for our tax advisors at home and abroad - You prepare analyses and reports for the management **Requirements**: - You have a degree in Accounting or a completed commercial training e.g. as Tax Assistant (M/F/d) or Financial Accountant (M/F/d) - Due to your previous positions, you were able to gain several years of practical experience in the field of Accounting - You have enthusiastically led teams and are able to put your visions and strategies into practice - You are familiar with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and have the confidence to familiarize yourself with German tax law, IFRS and US GAAP. - Continuous professional and personal development is a motivator for you - MS Office is standard for you and you move effortlessly in ERP software (e.g. SAP S/4HANA or SAP ByDesign) - A sense of responsibility, discretion and an independent way of working characterize you - You have organizational skills, a high degree of initiative and attention to detail - You speak fluent German and English Why inveox? - To the top: At inveox, we don't see our employees as resources, but as talents That's why we offer you many opportunities for personal and professional development - Work-Life-Harmony: We support you in achieving the best performance through flexible working time models and home office option - Meet & Mentor: You will work in a highly entrepreneurial environment with experienced professionals, have the opportunity to meet renowned industry experts and receive an introduction to the German start-up scene - Learn & Grow: In addition to support within and outside your team, you will receive regular feedback and personal coaching as well as methodical and practical training to promote your professional growth - Team Spirit: Enjoy daily team lunches and poker evenings, a Christmas and summer party and lots of team events
