**Propulsion Assembly Technician (f/m/d) 40 hours per week near Munich**

**Your role and your team**:
We are looking for an experienced Propulsion Technician who will be hands-on in the manufacture of an revolutionary product.

In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Propulsion System Assembly and will work on a variety of projects and tasks. As part of this role, you will be working on the assembly line and will install various components and wires of the aircraft´s propulsion system. Moreover, you will be assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electric components and prototypes daily. Furthermore, you will assist the engineering teams by providing feedback for design improvements to the product.

**Your Day to Day**:

- Work in a self-directed team of mechanical and electrical technicians
- Responsible for delivery and quality in all stages of the assembly process
- Follow work instructions and program plans
- Demonstrate experience of fault finding and trouble shooting of electrical circuits
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic and measuring equipment (including DMMs and oscilloscopes)
- Build up Low Voltage systems and signal supply network up to 1 kV
- Work on circuit board design, choose suitable components & perform soldering work
- Install, maintain and repair electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic parts of machinery and equipment
- Take responsibility for maintaining an inventory of parts, tools, and equipment
- Troubleshooting and feedback of errors to the corresponding teams, cooperation for root cause analysis
- Implement and sustain manufacturing data of the production system
- Work cross-functionally with related departments
- work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes, equipment & tooling, and repair solutions
- improve manufacturing standards and process requirements
- support digital improvements and innovations while working with manufacturing execution systems
- Assist technology acquisition and new factory installation & commissioning

**Your profile**:

- Educational background as an apprentice-training electrical technician or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the manufacture and/or repair of electro-mechanical components (including system with medium or high voltages highly apprectiated)
- Experience in the aersopace industry is beneficial but not mandatory
- Must be able to work from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and written instructions depending on the situation
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and read schematics and electrical drawings
- Experience with operating and maintaining a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment. Experience operating high volume production machinery desirable
- High level of self-reliance with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- Target-oriented work approach with analytic problem-solving skills required
- Pro-active self-starter who is ready to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion is a must
- Fluent English required. German language is a plus.
