**What to expect**:
You will join a FinTech powerhouse, who are headquartered in New York but split their Engineering team between there and Berlin. You would lead and own their entire data platform, both technically and from a people perspective. We do need someone willing to get their hands dirty and contribute to the infra in a hands-on manner in the short to mid-term, while hiring a team to eventually take over. They believe in having the kind of leaders who are still familiar with the day-to-day of their team’s work, so don’t expect to ever leave the technical side of data infrastructure and platform work behind entirely.

**Requirements**:
8+ Years within the Data Engineering space, with a significant amount of time leading teams
