**Your mission**:
Together with our “Biomining” team, you will develop innovative and sustainable solutions for recycling metals from waste streams in cooperation with various industrial partners. A decisive contribution for a successful circular economy. You will be involved in the process development from the lab bench to scale-up and piloting. You will work across disciplines in the fields of microbiology, metal chemistry, instrumental analytics and (bio)process engineering to overcome new scientific and technical hurdles.
On the one hand, you will make a decisive contribution to the realisation of our product ideas, and on the other hand, you will significantly drive the technological development and implementation of our partner companies’ concepts.

**Your profile**:

- We are looking for creative minds who not only enjoy contributing their ideas, but also have the passion to implement them successfully, independently and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- You should have a university degree (doctorate) in biology, biotechnology, chemical or bioprocess engineering or related disciplines.
- Initial experience in process development and/or microbial fermentations is an advantage, knowledge of the relevant instrumental analytics (HPLC, ICP-MS) would be beneficial.
- You should be able to communicate complex scientific and technical topics in German and English to an interdisciplinary audience.
- You should be a team player but also appreciative of a good mixture of personal responsibility and support.
