As a Fraud Risk Associate (M/F/d) you will provide expert fraud risk insights and demonstrate challenge to the business.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Perform ongoing independent oversight and challenge of the business approach for Fraud risk management, review and provide effective challenge to Fraud rules and strategies
- Build and optimise a Fraud Risk governance framework, including appropriate processes and controls
- Perform independent analysis of fraud performance and fraud events to identify trends and issues
- Conduct deep-dives into material and emerging fraud risks, providing subsequent recommendations to the business and other related functions while overseeing and providing independent assessment and challenge of the fraud risk identification and control design processes
- Work closely with data teams to ensure dashboards remain accurate and holistic
- Review internal and external sources to identify emerging fraud threats relevant to the business
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments of new products and changes to existing products as they develop

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Significant experience in banking including some in Fraud Risk
- Relevant experience in the German market including knowledge of cross-industry fraud risk forums and bodies
- Having an understanding of scalable fraud risk solutions and related operational processes and confidently delivering on data analytics
- Highly effective in analyzing risks and trends and communicating output to a range of stakeholders
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and providing recommended solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Basic knowledge of German
