The Department for the Psychology of Human Movement and Sport seeks to fill the position of a
Doctoral Researcher
commencing on 01.12.2025. We offer a part-time position (75% / 30 hours per week), offered as a fixed-term position until 30.11.2028.
**Your responsibilities**:

- Conduct research within the DFG-project “Gaze Signaling in Interactive and Collaborative Small
- and Large-Scale Actions (GazeACT)” (Principal Investigators: Prof. Dr. Rouwen Cañal Bruland and Prof. Dr. Katja Fiehler) as part of the DFG Priority Programme “Understanding Gaze (UGaze)” (SPP 2481)
- Plan and conduct experiments and analyse resulting data
- Publication of research articles in quality international, peer-review journals
- Presentation of research outcomes at national and international conferences
- Work on a scientific qualification project, i.e. PhD degree

**Your profile**:

- An excellent Master's degree (or equivalent) in human movement science/ sport science, psychology or in a related field
- Strong interest in conducting experiments
- Very good methodological, statistical and programming skills (e.g. Matlab, R or Python)
- Experience with different behavioral research methods (e.g. kinematic measurements, gaze tracking)
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Scientific enthusiasm and high level of commitment
