Proclinical are recruiting a Data Scientist (Real World Data) for a Medical Technology and Devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Freiburg. The client is focused on connecting society to improve people's health.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the development of ETL and analysis pipelines.
- Manage harmonisation and standardisation of data models.
- Execute biostatistics strategies and advanced analytics.
- Produce new data visualisation.
- You will design predictive models.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.
**Key Skills and Requirements**:
- Educated to an advanced degree level in a mathematics, statistics, bioinformatics or similar.
- Ability to work on multifaceted mathematical and statistical issues.
- Familiarity with programming and knowledge of at least on common programming language and tools, for example: R, R/shiny, Python, Java, Docker, etc.., and best practices in coding.
- Previous involvement working with medical data, such as real-world health care data, or in a regulated setting such as GxP would be beneficial for the role.
- Works well with others.
- Acquaintance with version control systems.
- Capable of working within an altering and agile setting with global collaborations.
- Presentation, moderation and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
