This position is located in Munich, Germany, with 2 to 3 days working from the office. **Key Responsibilities**: - Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS. - Ensure compliance with all relevant IFRS standards, updates, and regulations. - Analyze and interpret new and existing IFRS requirements and provide guidance to the finance team. - Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. - Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations related to IFRS. - Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. - Conduct technical research on accounting issues as they arise and provide recommendations for resolution. - Train and support other finance staff on IFRS-related matters. - Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. - Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management. **Preferred Experience**: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). - Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) with a focus on IFRS. - Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an international environment. - Strong knowledge and practical experience with IFRS. - Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, and audit processes. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). - Experience in a multinational company or Big 4 audit firm. - Proven ability to manage audit processes independently, including coordination of audit deliverables, resolution of inquiries, and liaison with audit teams across multiple entities. - Familiarity with other accounting frameworks (e.g., US GAAP) is a plus.
