**About the opportunity**:
We are currently looking for an AFC Senior Associate to join the AFC Advisory & Standards Team.

You have a strong regulatory, internal controls and AFC risk management background in an international setting and an addiction to a high pace and tech driven environment. You will work with a team of highly motivated and diverse staff. You will deal with a well-integrated broad array of governance, AFC risk management and compliance-related topics covering risk assessments of vendors and third parties, and support the Group MLRO Function in fulfilling its regulatory obligations.

**In this role, you will**:

- Work with a high performance team that is the central point of contact for all AFC Advisory and Standards tasks.
- Be responsible for conducting risk assessments on third parties and vendors and assess the services rendered to N26 from a Financial Crime perspective.
- Define and help observe the compliance of service levels with the bank's outsourcing partners for Financial Crime relevant services.
- Support the Advisory & Standards function on tasks involving audit reviews, regulatory projects and remediation exercises, as well as establishing and maintaining adequate governance

**What you need to be successful**:

- A university degree in economics, law, business, or other relevant areas.
- 3+ years of professional experience gained in anti-financial crime, compliance, audit or wider risk management roles.
- Good understanding and knowledge of outsourcing requirements and third party / vendor risk management.
- A professional financial crime qualification from an internationally recognised body (e.g. ICA, ACAMS) would be a plus.
