Senior Database Administrator

**Your tasks will include**:Essential skills**:

- Administering and optimizing database systems on Windows and Linux using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL
- Installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading, and patching databases
- Deploying and troubleshooting High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Familiar with different Backups & Recovery solutions and third-party database backup utilities
- Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, ensuring mínimal downtime

**Desired skills**:

- Implement maintenance improvement and automation focus
- Perform regular database performance tuning and optimization activities
- Working with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure), Performing design evaluations/ recommendations for database migration strategies to the cloud
- Programming/scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages
- Writing complex SQL queries on customer data to provide reports needed
- Conceiving and implementing professional/technical training courses for internal employees

**Your profile should include**:

- Successful completion of Computer Science or Information Technology studies for system integration, with relevant years of professional experience
- Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certification or Microsoft Certification
- Excellent knowledge of backend database systems in enterprise architectures
- High teamwork and communication skills, reliability and an independent way of working and willingness to support the team
- At least 8 years of professional experience
