**Your role**
- Are you interested in European Government Bond Trading and Risk Management? Are you looking to get involved in the fast paced world of interest rates trading? We are looking for someone like that who can:
- Be an integral member of the EGB Trading Desk, with a particular focus on performing the below set of tasks as a rudimentary part of the role
- manage trade bookings, amendments and risk runs on a daily basis
- pro-actively work together with traders and control functions to improve trade booking procedures and risk management systems
- enhance trade execution platforms by working closely with IT developers as the business migrates on to strategic platforms
- collaboratively working with operational teams across all regions to effectively identify and enhance missing and/or inadequate controls and checks implemented to ensure the trading desk’s risk and pnl is correct.
- review and validate trade confirmations, making amendments and enhancements where necessary by liaising and building relationships with Legal and wider operational teams.
- closely working with Sales counterparts to assist in client queries and trade bookings to improve the overall client operational experience.
- utilising visibility and knowledge to assist multiple areas of the organisation such as Finance, COO, IT and become the initial point of contact for the trading desks to filter items of priority.

**Your team**
- You will be working in the European Government Bond Trading team within Global Markets in Frankfurt. Our role is to effectively manage the bank’s risk in EGB Trading within the regulatory framework and our own internal policies. The team’s aim is to move the business forward by creating new opportunities of growth, alongside running our Rates Trading product offering.
