The opportunity has arisen to join the data centre sector of an industry leader in the UK’s Building Services sector.

Alternative Heat specialises in the design, supply and installation of a wide range of Prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in Northern Ireland and shipped throughout Ireland, UK and Europe.

We offer turnkey design, build and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK and Europe.

On our Projects within the Data Centre Sector, **we assume role of Specialist Prefab M&E Contractor**, meaning we have control of all elements of our build, namely:

- Design
- Chilled Water Distribution Systems
- LTHW Distribution Systems
- Plantrooms
- Electrical Distribution Modules
- Delivery
- Installation

**Key Responsibilities**:
We have detailed below some of the key elements of this role:

- Be the go-to person within our Frankfurt office for European data centre project programmes.
- Alongside the Operations Team, develop, coordinate, and maintain programmes for our data centre projects.
- Liaise with the Operations Team and Commercial Department on project resource requirements and subcontract package programmes.
- Work alongside site-based teams to update programmes based on true progress.
- Attend client programme meetings where required.
- Undertake risk analysis of live programmes to support Commercial and Operations teams.
- Review implications of programme change/slippage and where necessary create recovery programmes.
- Prepare monthly programme performance reports for review with Senior Management.

- Ability to work within the EU.
- Third level qualification in a construction related discipline or can demonstrate an equivalent level of construction/site experience.
- **Minimum of 5+ years’ experience** in a similar role, ideally within the M&E sector.
- English speaking.
- Commercially astute.
- High standard of analytical, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient in Programme Software’s such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
- High level of IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent client engagement skills.
- A willingness to travel as needed.
