**Sales Assistant**

**Frankfurt**

As a Barclays Sales Assistant, you will provide support to Front office partners, clients, and back-office teams. You will be their primary point of contact for all inquiries and escalations and ensure a smooth post trade process-monitor trade queues and ensure they are cleared by end of the day. You will manage split & allocations and support the Sales team with KYC onboarding. You’ll cover the Fixed Income business in Europe.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Monitoring trades and communicating with stakeholders to resolves any trade discrepancies
- Demonstrating excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure are required
- Being a quick thinker, being able to adapt to a changing environment very quickly
- Taking ownership for issues from start to finish, always striving to make improvements to the processes
- Managing intraday reports and trading exceptions to improve timeliness for trade affirmations
- Being the first line of contact for clients and internal teams for all discrepancies and issues
- Monitoring failing trades: stepping in where necessary to arrange buy-ins and prioritize settlement with clients
- Liaising with repo traders to cover short positions by borrowing bonds

**What we’re looking for**:

- Financial Services experience
- Operations experience related to Middle Office role
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Very good verbal and written command of German (C1 level) and English

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Knowledge of Fixed Income and trade Lifecycle
- Understanding of Fixed Income Bonds
- Previous Middle Office/Trade Support experience
- Knowledge of electronic platforms for trading and confirmations including Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Omgeo, CTM and FIX

**Where will you be working?**
Our new Frankfurt office is based in the heart of the new business district in the Taunus Turm. It boasts modern, collaborative work spaces and offers a gym, a number of different food outlets close by and direct access to a large park.
