Aufgaben
- Assist in Developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Groups, Conference & Events department.
- Support in managing a team to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Groups, Conference & Events as well as Director of Sales & Business Development to execute sales strategies for the department.
- Ensure that all groups and events inquiries are being responded to and executed within budget and to the satisfaction of the clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the hotel and organisation.
- Ensure that all events are executed in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Represent and lead the Groups, Conference & Events team in the absence of the Director
STRATEGY
- Execute the GC&E strategy in accordance with DGCE, DBD & RM
- Support in maintaining a Demand Calendar for C&E based on pricing per meeting room DDR & Room Hire. Flex pricing based on demand
- Overlook inquiries over 20’000 € before it gets to a client
- Join Revenue Meeting to share about Risk & Ops on forecast, Meeting Room Occupancy, Pace in absence of Director.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Managing day to day team workload & questions
- Support in identifying areas of development & give necessary training
- Prepare roaster to be approved by Director GC&E
- Understand & define capabilities of each team member to allocate them the right client, based on value & experience
- Instructing and training staff in compliance with brand standards, service behaviour rules and legal requirements. Ensure that employees are properly trained and have the necessary tools to perform their duties
- Carrying out performance appraisals, where requested
OPERATIONS
- Deputising in Director’s absence Conversion:
- Managing inbox & attributing new quotations to team members
- Running daily huddle & weekly 15 min training sessions
- Quoting & converting the more complex groups
- Join client show arounds based on value
- Ensure Follow-ups are done within 24h
- Ensure Team member are prepared for groups meeting updates
- Ensure knowledge of brand’s tools for conversion
Qualifikation
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- German Language is a must. English Language professional level
