The data-driven logistics department has the main task to manage a Europe-wide network of more than 200 logistics partners. You will be working proactively and make the next step forward with us. In your new role as ourHead of Business Development - Logistics (f/m/x), you will negotiate and implement new solutions to secure and bring operational excellence in our transportation chain across Europe.

We are looking for you to work closely with our Director Logistics Europe and manage the further improvement and diversification of our global logistics network

Your new role
- Be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of 2 direct reports with each a team of 5-7 people
- Design and execute business initiatives from scratch and play a crucial part in implementing your ideas together with a highly motivated team
- Identify process optimization in different areas throughout our supply chain and create scalable improvements for profitability, operational efficiency, and customer experience
- Manage business relationships with our logistics providers and negotiate strategic agreements across Europe
- Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior and top management and become an expert in your areas of responsibility
- Manage various cross-functional projects powered by data-driven insights with the goal to overachieve
- Solve complex business situations on a tactical and strategic level and continuously challenge the status quo

Your skills
- A university degree in Business, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain or another related field paired with relevant working experience in a dynamic environment
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in leading and motivating a team - You inspire the people you work with to drive opportunities forward with full force
- Excellent communication skills to conduct negotiations with our external partners and to manage them independently
- Passion about moving tasks forward and taking full ownership of projects combined with a mindset of continuous improvement and challenging yourself
- Ability to manage priorities simultaneously to meet time-sensitive deadlines while staying within budget and strong analytical skills including the ability to summarize quantitative concepts into a digestible format
- Fluency in English, business fluent in German is a plus
