GlobalFoundries Fab1 is seeking a System Expert in Dresden Germany. The individual selected for this position will work together with GLobalFoundries maintenance technicians and equipment-, manufacturing
Your responsibilities include:
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for fleet of specific PVD equipment type
- To become the technical expert of machine and contact for shift maintenance staff
- High focus on preventative and corrective maintenance objectives including complex tool troubleshooting
- To generate and optimize maintenance work instructions and to ensure an effective maintaining of equipment with the team of shift technicians
- To coach and mentor maintenance shift personnel on skill level, direct feedback and work performance (technical leadership)
- Interact with supplier service team on site on a daily basis in order to ensure an effective OEM service
- Continuous improvement of equipment reliability and OEE maximization by proposing and realizing optimizations of maintenance processes
- To ensure cost minimization by efficient utilization of resources including parts and shop floor processes
- To perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and to support all Environmental, Health, Safety and Security requirements and programs
- All maintenance documentation is properly done in SAP
**Required Qualifications**
- Technician degree or similar (e.g. “staatlich geprüfter Techniker”) with profound knowledge in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
- Long term experience in high volume semiconductor manufacturing, minimum 5 years
- Multiple year experience in maintaining PVD/ALD equipment or similar
- Familiar with maintenance methods of failure containment and troubleshooting
- Experiences operating the equipment in productive environment and with continuous improvement
- Familiar to work in cross-functional teams of equipment/process engineers and maintenance technicians as well as suppliers service
- Capable to communicate in English language - written & verbal
- Goal oriented
- Excellent team player / assertiveness
