**Vacancy**:Chief Finance Officer (f/m/x)**: - We are looking for a Chief Finance Officer (f/m/x) to start immediately for our client, a company based in Mannheim. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant. **Benefits of our Client**: - Company car - Competitive salary - 30 days annual leave - Home-Office possibilities - Corporate Benefits **Your Responsibilities as **Chief Finance Officer (f/m/x)** - Accounting and Financial reporting: - Lead and manage a team of accountants (6) - Produce statutory and quarterly accounts - Produce accurate and timely monthly financial accounts and financial reporting under Group principles and local requirements - Supervise all credit management and collection activities, treasury functions, etc. - Manage financial budgeting process - Draw cash forecasts and monitor cash balances - Controlling: - Monitor company and branch financial performance by measuring and analyzing results and variances and developing corrective actions; make relevant proposals and carry initiatives on cost management, margin management and any relevant business matter - Audit branch administrative processes in a "business partnering" capacity (regular documented branch visits to review controls, assess progress against budget and deploy corrective actions; permanent support to branch managers; regular control of branch operations; deployment of operational best practices) - Control branch "administrative" operations (month-end controls, etc.) - Compliance: - Manage all legal, tax and treasury matters and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements (regulatory reporting, VAT requirements, insurance obligations, real estate contracts, etc.) - Maintain relationships with external auditors, ensure deadlines to group schedule are met and investigate findings and recommendations - Maintain relationship with tax authorities, banks, etc. - Other: - Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team - Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team and group correspondents (Accounting Controllers, Financial Controllers, Internal Controls, Credit Management, HR) - Produce ad-hoc analysis (e.g. profitability, cost reduction opportunities, etc.) - Ad-hoc projects **Your Qualification and Skills** - Bachelor's degree in business administration - At least 5 years of experience as Financial Manager (f/m/x) - Experience in an Audit firm is a plus - Good knowledge of German tax and legal laws - Successful management experience - Experience of a multi-cultural international environment a plus - Service industry experience or multi-site company a plus - Analytical skills (ability to investigate and analyse figures to provide full explanation of them and propose corrective actions) - Autonomous/ takes initiatives - Management skills promoting high standards of performance among the team towards comprehensive set of goals (accounting deadlines, accounts accuracy, etc.) - Rigorousness (attention to details), organized and able to plan and prioritize workload - Results focus - Computer skills (ERP system, Excel) - Good communication at all levels, verbal and written - Fluent in English **Have we piqued your interest?
