Director of Transaction

We are looking for a highly motivated **Director of Transaction & Roaming Partnerships**to lead and deploy the strategy for Transaction and Roaming Businesses with strong focus on growing our roaming partnerships in Europe and APAC. In this role you will build long lasting relationships with identified key market players including negotiation and managing agreements. This role reports to VP, Network Sales and location is Berlin, Germany.

**What you’ll do**
- Grow Virta’s Transaction Revenue and Gross Profit, including sales to EV Drivers, Fleets and Roaming partners.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish new roaming partnerships with charge point operators (CPOs) and emobility service providers (MSPs) to expand our network and improve Virta value offering.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key roaming partners, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with roaming partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and compliance with company standards.
- Lead and manage virtual & cross-functional roaming team, define priorities, responsibilities and follow up on execution.
- Establish, deploy and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Work closely with internal teams, including product development, operations, sales and marketing, to ensure alignment and integration of partnership initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics for leadership team to support strategic decision making.
- Drive internally actions for the technical integration of new partners to ensure smooth communication and data transfer.

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in partnership management or business development role, preferably within the emobility/telecom industries.
- Solid track record of successfully negotiating and managing roaming agreements in an international context.
- Strong understanding of global roaming regulations and best practices.
- Experience in leading remote, matrix and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- Ability to travel internationally
- Residency in EU
