**Junior Digital Solution Designer**
**Home office /Dresden, Germany**

**Role purpose**:
Responsible for customer requirements capture, solution design and integration, and defining the cost of customer solutions.

The DSDs are customer-facing people that understand customer requirements and design solutions leveraging multi-cloud services from IBM and networking, mobile, IoT services from Vodafone. They work in close collaboration from architects and designers in both companies to create solutions for our customers. The DSDs design customer solutions that deliver to customers’ expectations and ensure the technical solution links to the cost case for proposal and contract.

You will be ambitious, innovation hungry with a customer first mentality. You will have a balance of technical and commercial acumen and experience. You will be the solution authority and will have responsibility for driving customer adoption, creation and enhancement of the Vodafone and IBM product and services catalogue. You will lead customer solution development embracing new technologies and economic models. You will combine services across the Cloud, Security, IoT and fixed and mobile catalogues to deliver an end-to-end service.

- To create, develop, describe and design complex and customer Digital Services in line with the evolving business needs of Vodafone Business.
- Maintain communications with the customer through the solutioning process ensure requirements captured and dates for completion agreed ensure any issues are also effectively communicated.
- Engage with key IBM and Vodafone architects and technical solution managers (TSM) to address customer solution requirements with their expertise and solutions.
- Ensure that the technical solution links to the cost case requirements in the proposal and contract.

**Desired/Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- A minimum of 1 year (or more) sales and or technical experience in an IT/Managed Hosting/Cloud/Teleco organisation and/or System Integrator (SI).
- Experience in deal creation and design beneficial.
- A Sales and or Technical Certification in virtualisation, security, cloud or equivalent experience advantageous.
- Security clearance (SC) aligned to local or central government agencies desired but not essential.
