**Minimum qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in product design or UX. - Experience working in a client-facing environment, directly interfacing with business and engineering leadership, and customers. - Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.- Include a portfolio, website or any other relevant link to your work in your resume providing a viewable link or access instructions. **Preferred qualifications**: - Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience in marketing design, communication design, or branding strategy with a focus on bringing products to global marketplaces. - Experience using and contributing to design systems and frameworks. - Experience presenting to stakeholders and articulating the team's objectives and ambitions. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate objectives and advocate design excellence. **About the job**: At Google, we follow a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." Our work touches billions while exemplifying a key principle that is core to Google’s philosophy: “Focus on the user and all else will follow.” **Responsibilities**: - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions. - Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes. - Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates. - Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
