VORN Bioenergy is a leading biomethane producer and project developer, with over 40 biogas projects delivered in Germany and beyond, including Europe’s first biomethane plant in 2006. We have delivered biomethane plant development, construction, management, and optimisation across a 130+ MW project portfolio in six European markets and has an additional 70+ MW additional development pipeline. Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Regensburg or location-independent and are currently looking for a **Team Lead Project Management (M/F/d)**:
**Your role**:
**Your Responsibilities**
- You head a team of several project managers leading biogas projects in various European markets. While you always back or cover the project managers in challenging project situations and meetings (or substitute them during temporary absence) you only exceptionally adopt operating project responsibility for concrete projects.
- You cooperate narrowly with our colleagues from Engineering and M&A (growth department) and you report to the director of project development.
- You gradually establish and improve standards and tools for professionalizing project reporting and documentation. Under your direction we jointly improve our control processes (health & safety, quality & risk, time schedules, budget plans).
- You support your project managers on their most challenging project issues.
- You advise the management board on strategic questions and you are a creative element for setting up innovative projects.
- You will always cooperate well with our operating teams (O&M and feedstock management), in particular where we set up brownfield projects.
**Your Profile**
- You have a master’s degree in mechanical, chemical or environmental engineering, or similar.
- You have extensive knowledge and experience in project management; ideally, within renewables and biogas.
- You like structuring and are passionate about establishing reasonable standards; when you do this you don’t finish until all interfaces work sufficiently and all related colleagues have been convinced.
- In case of conflicts with suppliers or project issues you always keep calm and professional.
- You speak English fluently and you are aware that the entire company archive and all formal processes mostly happen in English.
- You are happy to occasionally travel. Apart from that you have positively experienced that effective project management and teamwork standards do not necessarily require an office.
- You are passionate about renewables, you won’t stop learning and you enjoy being part of a fast moving team
