**About the role**:
**Clariness is searching for an entrepreneurial and hands-on Head of Project Management to lead our Patient Recruitment team. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with deep expertise in patient recruitment in clinical trials, an innovative mindset, and a hands-on approach to both strategy and operations. You'll drive complex, high-impact projects across 30+ countries, balancing high-level leadership with proactive involvement in the details to ensure success.**

**As a Head of Project Management (f/m/d) - Patient Recruitment, you will**:

- Lead by Example: Balance high-level strategic direction with hands-on execution, readily diving into project specifics when needed to ensure success and model proactive problem-solving for your team.
- Drive Strategic and Operational Excellence: Shape and communicate a clear vision for patient recruitment projects, while being prepared to actively tackle operational challenges alongside your team.
- Set the Standard for Client-Focused Efficiency: Personally contribute to refining and streamlining weekly client reporting, establishing a standard of transparency and efficiency that enhances client satisfaction.
- Be an Innovator and Doer: Embrace the dual role of visionary and executor, driving the integration of AI and other advanced project management methods, and actively engaging in the practical implementation and troubleshooting of these tools.
- Ensure Hands-On Capacity Planning: Take charge of effective capacity planning via MSP, overseeing resource allocation and staying directly involved in optimizing workflows to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Act as the Primary Interface for Projects: Serve not only as a strategic lead but also as a practical liaison, directly engaging with stakeholders to build trust and alignment on every project.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Cultivate growth within your team, providing mentorship that fosters an environment of innovation, responsiveness, and adaptability in the complex field of clinical trial recruitment.
- Optimize Project Management Tools: Spearhead the upscaling and refinement of our project management software, enhancing team efficiency and improving operational performance.
- Advance Patient Recruitment Strategies: Lead the project management team in maximizing recruitment strategies, ensuring compliance with clinical trial regulations and unique project requirements.

**Your profile**:

- Experienced Leader and Hands-On Doer: You have a track record of successfully managing and mentoring teams, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute directly to project tasks when necessary.
- Strong Operational Mindset: Proven success in both high-level planning and tactical execution, with a strong emphasis on optimizing processes and ensuring that the team's work is streamlined and impactful.
- Resourceful Problem Solver: A self-starter who can identify and swiftly address challenges, leveraging both leadership experience and a proactive approach to keep projects on track.
- Expertise in Clinical Trial Patient Recruitment: Demonstrated experience in managing patient recruitment projects for clinical trials, with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and regulations.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with project management tools, platforms, and an affinity for technology, particularly AI and digital solutions.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English
