**Head of School**:

- Innovative, curious and future-oriented. The Klax School in Pankow is a state-recognisedand bilingual all-day school. From the first to the thirteenth grade, we work according to the internationally recognised concept of Klax pedagogy. The school's content focus is on art and digitalisation. We learn in projects and teach very successfully with the learning management system MS Office 365 Teams. We are proud to have won second place in the German School Award in 2021.
To strengthen our future-oriented team, we are looking for a
**Head of School (M/F/d) for our Upper School** on a permanent basis as soon as possible.

**Your tasks**:

- Head of the Upper School with 120 pupils and approx. 12 teachers
- Further development of the gymnasiale Oberstufe
- Leading the implementation of the school concept and the school focus in the Upper School
- Control of substitution and room planning
- Control of the deployment of staff and the teaching load of our teachers (M/F/d)
- Conduct team meetings
- Guidance for the Learning Family Coordinators (M/F/d)
- Conduct admission interviews#
- Participate in school committee work and implementation of resolutions
- Cooperate with other schools and school partners on behalf of the headteacher
- Organisation of the implementation of the examinations and financial statements due in the area of responsibility

**Your Profile**:

- A completed teaching degree or a teaching qualification recognised by the Senate or a career changer in secondary schools or grammar schools.
- Several years of professional or management experience in the school system
- Very good knowledge of the school law
- Experience in the field of private schools desirable
- Enthusiasm for the field of school development
- Enjoyment in the further development of pedagogical approaches
- Identification with the values and principles of a pedagogy that focuses on the individual development of the child
- Didactic-methodical diversity in teaching
- Experience and enthusiasm with digital media
- Team oriented
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Commitment, creativity and strong communication skills coupled with a natural authority
