Are you ready to take on a key position at the core of our business? We are looking for a **Business Unit Controller** -** Corn (M/F/d)**to join KWS SAAT and play a vital role with our leadership team at the headquarters in **Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany)**.** In this position, you will act not only as a strategic but also as an operational partner and financial co-pilot, driving business performance, ensuring financial transparency, and supporting our ongoing growth and innovation journey. **Your Responsibilities** - Serve as a **proactive partner** to the Business Unit (BU) management, supporting both strategic steering and operational excellence. - Translate the BU strategy into **concrete, actionable measures**, ensuring effective implementation and progress tracking. - Lead and coordinate the **budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes** across the Business Unit, in close collaboration with Regional and Country Heads, Global Controlling, and Global Finance. - Support the management team with **financial insights, performance analyses, and scenario modeling** to enable sound decision-making. - Contribute to **organizational development**, including the implementation of new business models and process improvements. - Ensure compliance with corporate standards while fostering agility and a culture of continuous improvement. **Your Profile** - Relevant university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. - ** Customer-oriented** mindset (internal and external) with strong communication and intercultural skills. - Proven** professional experience in international Controlling** or a similar finance role. - Strong background in **Financial Controlling**, with hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP), proficient use of Excel, and familiarity with other tools such as Power BI. - ** Fluent English** skills (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus. - Strategic thinker with the ability to **see the big picture**, connect the dots, and derive meaningful conclusions from complex data. - ** Agile, accountable, and self-driven** - someone who takes initiative and enjoys making an impact. **What we offer** - An exceptionally interesting and varied job in an international environment with the opportunity to contribute to innovative ideas. - Working in an international, highly motivated, and dynamic team - Flexible working hours with the possibility of mobile working - As a family-run company, we live by the values of team spirit, closeness and trust, independence and vision - a culture that is also lived out in practice, e.g. through an open and friendly working atmosphere. - Following the motto: "Make yourself grow" we promote individual professional and personal development. - We create the appropriate framework conditions for you: capital-forming benefits, Christmas and holiday pay, childcare allowance, JobRad.
