This Position reports to:
R&D Team Lead

**Key responsibilities**

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

- You are interested in the domain of data analytics, machine learning, numerical simulation, or process simulation.
- You will develop mainly python packages for industrial use cases, with minor C++/C# implementation.
- Close collaboration with our scientists, you will help to design, analyze, and test our software prototypes and algorithms.
- We expect that you show above-average motivation to develop demonstrators and software prototypes and proactiveness to come up with new concepts and ideas on how to overcome possible challenges.

**Qualifications for the role**
- Enrolled in a Master's program in Natural Sciences (e.g., Mathematics, Physics) or Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Informatics)
- Strong programming skills in Python and shell scripting
- Experience with machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy)
- Familiar with Git, Linux systems, and shell scripting
- Basic knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and C++/C#
- Nice to have: Experience with Java/JavaScript and Azure Cloud Services
- Fluent English (spoken & written); German is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
