Wet Cross Brand Scientist

The role is part of the Wet Cross Brand team within the Pet Nutrition Europe regional R&D organisation. The job holder is responsible to lead and deliver projects with cross brand relevance in the areas of product quality, product performance, efficiency and sustainability.

**What are we looking for?**:

- Degree in food science or professional qualification in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Chef, Engineering, Food Technology)
- Scientific methods & mindset
- Understanding of food manufacturing practices, raw material functionality and recipe formulation
- Ideally basic understanding of petfood manufacturing
- Preferably 1+ years of experience in the food industry or similar technical area
- Must speak English fluently

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:

- Lead and deliver projects to maintain or improve the existing product portfolio in the areas of product quality, product performance, efficiency and sustainability.
- Provide leadership and direction to drive on time and in budget project delivery as well as full compliance to regulatory/legal requirements and internal company standards.
- Design and execute quality plans throughout the project lifecycle from insight generation to final solution. Plan and execute trials in the pilot plant and/or in the factory, including appropriate product validation plans.
- Develop expertise in the area of product performance and support other R&D teams and other functions with training and expert consultancy. Focus on data capture and knowledge management.
