**Who We’re Looking For**:
As we build out the HR function here at Makersite, we are looking for a HR Generalist who will be responsible for the creation and building of company wide policies and be responsible for all administrative functions for the People team. Providing an effective and modern employee journey to our workforce will be a fundamental part of this role to ensure the experience is above expectations.

This role’s responsibilities include managing all administrative aspects of the Employee lifecycle (e.g. creation of HR documents, on
- and offboarding tasks and answering HR-related employee questions). This role will ensure that the HRIS is the single source of truth regarding all people related information. This role has experience with HR procedures, their optimization and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner while displaying a service-oriented attitude towards employees and managers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, reference letters, etc.
- Be responsible for payroll preparation from the company side and be the interface to an external payroll providers and outsourced companies.
- OKR process creation and facilitation
- Support the entire employee lifecycle - from onboarding to offboarding - from an operational HR point of view
- Be responsible for HR policy and process documentation and HR operations process optimization
- Report on HR data
- Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
- Participate in HR projects

**Qualifications**:

- Proven work experience in an administrative role, e.g. in HR, Finance, Operations, Office Management or Hospitality
- Experience with HR software, like HRIS, or similar
- Knowledge of labour laws
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important and time-critical tasks
- Strong written and in-person communication skills
- German on a native level crucial, English language on a very good level is required.
- Service-oriented mindset and attitude
- Be the owner of our HRIS system and internal document storage, and make sure all personnel records are kept up-to-date (e.g. contract, master data, absences)
